Desk Note™ is an acoustic desk divider that provides both visual and acoustic privacy for the user within a busy/loud work environment. This not only reduces the amount of reverberation within the space (improving over all sound quality) as well as creating a physical barrier to signify the user is working and offers a reasonable amount of sound insulation from direct sound sources. 

Whether you are working from home, working in a loud open plan office or perhaps a collaborative workspace, the modular design of this Desk Note™ allows the user to create a wide range of acoustic dividers/barriers that can adapt to the users needs and requirements. Desk Note™ can be easily stored away until required, with the attachment to hold the units together.

Desk Note™ can be easily moved around a space to create new dynamic working environments, offering a superior soundscape thus improving speech intelligibility which can be perfect to support hot desking within collaborative work spaces.

These acoustic desk dividers come in a range of different colours with the option of laminating two alternative shades together to create a visually appealing aesthetic, there are also other customisable options available such as having logos or patterns either waterjet cut or grooved into the Note™ material.

Soundproofing products act as a barrier to decrease sound leaving or entering a room or workspace. Sound absorbers absorb the sound within a room and assist to reduce room reverberation etc. Absorbers do not prevent the sound leaving the space but will reduce it. If you are wanting to soundproof a room you would have to buy soundproofing products. It may also be worthwhile to think about some absorbers inside the room to help reduce the sound before it hits the soundproofing.

A sound barrier is a sound blocker and usually includes insulation with a high mass, which then reduces the amount of sound that can pass through it. A standard domestic door is a good example of a noise barrier when it is closed as it reduces the sound of external noise. Sound waves flow like water and air so it is impracticable to use a sound barrier such as a fence or screen to stop noise but they are effective when used to reduce noise immediately on the other side of them. From distances farther away the noise reduction will be less efficient.
