A pilot hole must be drilled in to the wall first to allow the fitting of the Nylon casing, then the screw is fixed through the MuteBoard® 3 or MuteBoard® 4 and knocked in at the last bit of purchase the screw has to help expand the nylon casing to create a tighter fit.

Nylon Hammer Fix 80mm is compatible with fixing both our MuteBoard® 3 and MuteBoard® 4 into brick or block work.

It is not suitable for use with a timber or stud frame work, you will want to opt for a wood screw, all information is on our installation guides under Related PDFs for each product.
