Isolation Strip F5
Isolation Strip F5 is used to help reduce flanking noise transmission from an existing structure into a stud frame. It is a rubber buffer that helps to isolate a new stud frame to stop noise from transferring from your existing wall to your new one.
This ‘de-coupling’ of a new frame is one of the most effective soundproofing techniques and an isolation strip is a low-cost upgrade that gives great benefit when soundproofing a wall.
Self Adhesive
Our Isolation Strips are backed with a self-adhesive coating. This makes the installation process simple and fast. Just carefully peel off the protective paper and apply it to dust and oil-free wooden uprights.
Impact noise reduction
Acoustic batten strips are a great upgrade for a batten floor if impact noise is a concern. This can offer up to a 28dB reduction in impact noise on an average concrete floor.*
For use in a soundproofing system
Our strips act as a low-profile acoustic barrier in a ‘floating floor’ soundproofing system. Ideal if your floor is already level to save as much space as possible.
